Many, many thanks and appreciation to all who transported, took care of, watched over, and guided our baby-boy-soon-to-be-man. My son is #5 of six, so it is extremely hard to let go, but we also subscribe to the village theory (it takes a village to raise a child). Thanks for being our “village.” My son was extremely excited when he returned and has said ‘thank you, Mama” on at least five different occasions – and I haven’t seen him since I dropped him off at school this morning!). He made a comment last night about ‘how the FAMU family-thing is really true,’ he says that he felt it and I didn’t have anything to worry about.

​Brother and sister, Micah and Mikela Pryor were awarded a $79,000 scholarship to the FAMU-FSU School of Engineering and a $72,000 scholarship to the FAMU College of Pharmacy, respectively. Congrats to these rattlers! If you are a recent high school graduate, this could be you!
